SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Engineer 2 must be able to document manufacturing processes, reason through assembly problems and assist in the design, fabrication and installation of manufacturing tooling and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Troubleshoot any of the products or assemblies in their area of responsibility.
  • Design and build a tool with minimal direction.
  • Write a work instruction with minimal direction.
  • Solve basic problems with minimal direction.
  • Create facility layouts, and spec out equipment with minimal direction.
  • Assist in manufacturing productivity and quality improvements on the assembly floor, machine shop, and/or sheet metal shop.
  • Communicate effectively with all personnel.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering or in a closely related major and 0-3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $39.00 per hour
