Boeing Global Services (BGS) in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our Defense Spares Engineering team. In this role, the focus will be on delivering products and services that provide best in class spares solutions for maximum customer value as part of the Spares Engineering Execution team.
The selected candidate will participate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions. Candidate will work with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work in a cross-functional work environment including engineering, quality, product support, supplier management, and program management.
- Build technical data packages for use by suppliers.
- Develop and implement manufacturing plans.
- Resolve technical problems that would minimally impact performance, cost, or schedule.
- Analyze design / build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigate alternative solutions to meet producibility requirements.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options (Oklahoma City, Ok). This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
- 1+ years of experience with Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working with out of production Boeing aircraft models as it pertains to flights and technical training.
- 1+ years of experience supporting the development of engineering technical data packages needed to produce aircraft parts and components.
- 1+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Experience working in a cross functional environment.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:

Summary pay range: $59,500 - $80,500
