- Follow Quality, Operational, Environmental, Health and Safety Standards for all work areas and promptly escalate issues, machine alarms and equipment failures.
- Follow written and oral instructions to meet customer demands and production standards in assigned area per applicable site training matrix.
- Perform manual and automated operations of equipment and processes following training and online Assembly Build Instructions (ABIs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Equipment Operating Instructions (EOIs), and Work Instructions (WIs).
- Embrace the Lean Manufacturing culture by actively participating in 5S activities, housekeeping, mistake proofing, continuous improvement and adhering to Standard Work Principles.
- Maintain accurate time keeping, record keeping, labour tracking, inventory control, process documentation, scrap, and quality records. Promptly escalate issues.
- Become trained to the area’s core standards and functional specific operations before working without direct or supervisory oversight.
- Undertake training on processes, procedures, standards and policies for assigned job and operational area.
- Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated <1%).
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Less than One (1) year of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.

- Basic computer skills required.

- Self-motivated.
- Ability to interpret, receive direction and apply both written and oral communication
- Flexible to quickly adapt to learning new tasks, moving to new areas to meet changing customer demands.
- Flexible and able to work overtime, nights, various shifts and weekends as required.
- Flexible to work in multiple areas as required.
- Demonstrated competencies in: teamwork, professional demeanor, quality, job knowledge, communication, problem solving and lean principles, flexibility, attendance and timeliness.
- General Manufacturing tools and equipment. Specific area training must be completed in assigned area.
- Able to alternate or be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Able to carry out manual handling taken in line with published HSE guidance.
- Able and willing to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required for assigned area.
- General office equipment and materials.
- The work setting should consist of a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level.
