Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative cosmetics or skincare manufacturer to join our established and friendly team at our head office in Perth. We have an extensive order book and so it is important that you will need to have prior experience – either from previous employment or your own business - in the manufacture, production and creation of cosmetics, creams, balms or lotions as we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
We manufacture a large range of products, including moisturisers, lip balms, bath products and body oils. You will be involved in the making of all of these plus many others. You will also be involved in filling, labelling and packing of the products.

Main duties and responsibilities
- The purpose of this role is to complete manufacturing bulk tasks in a timely manner to meet daily targets, whilst being compliant to safety requirements and our own high standards.
- Participation in planning new and amended formulations of skincare products
- Taking the lead on manufacturing certain product lines
- Setting up and operating machinery to manufacture cosmetic bulk products
- Adhering to and ensuring the team follow Standard Operating Procedures and GMP
- Ensuring the department is cleaned and sanitised suitably and sufficiently
- Adhering to all safe working practices
- Completing batch documentation per instructions and quality standards
- Work alongside other Voyager team members on business development
- Deal directly with customers to understand and advise on their production
Person Specification
- Prior experience of making skincare or cosmetic products is essential, whether hand blending small batches or larger bulk manufacturing
- Experience of registering products on the UK and European portals as well as commissioning CPSRs would be beneficial but is not essential
- Experience following a recipe or formula to create a quality end-product You will need to understand the key concepts of Good Manufacturing Practice or be willing to learn and implement these
- Confidence in working alone and willing to oversee the main aspects of manufacturing when required
- Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
