Assembly Operator, Night shift 23:00-07:00am

Our products include Safety-Critical Systems, Access Control, Power Actuators, and Control Electronics are line-fitted to a considerable number of top-of-the-range passenger and supercars worldwide.

About the role:

Working to strict safety and quality requirements

Ensure daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity are met

Perform the assigned assembly operations to strict guidelines

Sufficient training will be provided to ensure attainment of desired level of confidence

Key Responsibilities

· Operate production line equipment as may be directed

· Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks

· Implement the assembly task as directed

· Maintain your work environment tidy and clean at all times

· Report equipment faults to maintenance staff

· Labelling and packing finished parts

· Contribute to continuous improvement activities

· Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with Health, Safety and Environmental standards

Skills and Attributes:

· Ability to work across multiple areas of the process of assembly

· Able to work as part of a team

· Able to work on own initiative when necessary

· Able to work in a safe manner

· Able to follow written and verbal instructions and work to

standards

· Have a keen eye for detail

· Able to work under pressure when required to meet tight cycles/deadlines with minimum supervision

· Ability to learn quickly

· Good Manual dexterity

· Understanding of production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

· Having technical education and vocational training is an advantage

· Previous experience gained in a manufacturing environment is helpful

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £25,000.00 per year
