We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team at our customers site in Elton, this role is located on a large glass manufacturing site (CH2 4LF), near Ellesmere Port. This position is temporary ongoing.
Main Purpose of the Manual Glass Resort Operative is:
You will be moving glass bottles onto a production line within our customers area.
Quality checking for any defects with in the glass ware.
The operator will report daily to our customers supervisor(s).
Hours/Shifts
Starting £10.90 per hour days, £11.40 nights
Days/Nights
Monday – Friday shifts (07:00-17:00 Monday-Thursday) (07:00-12:15 Friday)
Key Accountabilities
· Comply with health & safety and hygiene policies, operational procedures and regulations, including wearing the relevant PPE and being correctly attired at all times.
· Maintain maximum production efficiency and minimum production downtime.
· Detect any defects in the glass as per your rework request and insure all your packaging is in line with your specification request.
· Input, record and monitor data clearly, ensuring performance optimisation.
· Keep work areas clean and tidy after work is completed, in accordance with housekeeping standards.
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Assisting other team members as required
· Taking samples of products
· Completing written records

Salary: £10.90-£11.40 per hour
