What is the opportunity?
This is a leadership role in facilitating all delegated Global Sales Business Management responsibilities. You will be supporting the strategic agenda for Global Sales & Relationship Management (GSRM) in order to optimise client management and client profitability, financial performance, and operational & organisational effectiveness.
What will you do?
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work in close coordination with Global Product Business Managers and Business Heads on strategic projects
- Central liaison between Sales Front Office and internal support partners including Technology, Finance, Operations, Legal and Human Resources
- Leads and is accountable for recommendations that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the GSRM business line
- Delegated decision making business representative, with both internal and external parties, according to specified guidelines
- Member of GSRM OC and relevant sub-committees
- Expense management of the GSRM organization
- Meeting and presentation preparation and management
- Support confidential HR matters as directed by Business Heads
- Implementation and maintenance of management information data sets
- Issue owner arising from GSRM related internal audits, regulator visits and those self-identified
- Sales ad hoc project work covering a wide variety of topics
- People management of Sales Business Management team in Global Markets
- Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities
- Provide focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance management, supporting career development and rewarding strong performance
- Leverage the value in unit, department, and enterprise wide teams to develop better solutions and achieve a cross enterprise mindset.
- Accept and successfully execute change while supporting employees through the process, and keeping them focused on business priorities
- Review new and updated Firm Policies applicable to your business and communicate such Firm Policies to employees for whom you have supervisory responsibilities
- Develop and communicate measurable goals and objectives for your direct reports, ensuring performance standards for each employee are aligned to those of the business. Review these during the course of the year, to ensure that they are still relevant

What do you need to succeed?
- Sales COO / Senior Business Management senior experience at sell side Capital Markets organisation
- Financial / Consultancy / Sales background a strong asset
- Strong familiarity and understanding of key requirements and environment to build and support a top tier sales business
- Knowledge and experience in fixed income and equities products, pricing, and offerings
- Data Management / Client Lifecycle Management capabilities
- Highly effective candidate with excellent written and verbal presentation skills
