Milpitas Star Aquatics is seeking talented individuals, who love swimming and enjoy working with children to join our world-class staff team.

Open Positions: SWIM INSTRUCTOR and/or LIFEGUARD (Part-time)

Location: Milpitas, CA

Swim Instructor Qualifications:

• Minimum 15 years of age

• Some swimming experience: competitive swimming experience is preferred but not required.

• Love Swimming & Passionate about working with kids

Lifeguard Qualifications:

• Minimum 15 years of age

• Possess a valid/current Lifeguard certification from American Red Cross

Job Description

• Cover proper material required in all levels

• Apply appropriate techniques to students based on age, experience and physical development

• Teaching with encouragement and positive reinforcement

• Create a healthy and safe environment for all participants.

• Communicate regularly with participants and their parents, update the student’s progression throughout the course

• Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules and regulations

Compensation: Competitive compensation based on experience, starting at $17.00 per hour
