Manager, Talent Recruiting

Manager, Talent Recruiting London, England

Axiom
Full Time London, England 32000 - 65000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

About Axiom:

Axiom is where legal teams go to find the right talent for everything from routine in-house tasks to complex outside counsel work. Too many legal departments are stuck having to choose between paying the high fees of their law firm, hiring full-time employees they don't need, or turning to a low-cost agency that can't meet their quality standards. At the same time, top lawyers want to work on challenging legal matters, but they want more control over how, when, and where they practice. Both are forced compromises that no one should have to make. Axiom shares and meets the higher standards of its clients and lawyers, with our "work smarter, adapt faster, go further" approach – connecting growing mid-market and Fortune 500 companies with the world's deepest bench of experienced, specialized legal talent.

About the role:

Axiom is hiring for a highly motivated, thoughtful Recruitment Manager to support in the hiring of our ever-growing population of legal talent. A critical member of our wider Talent Acquisition team, the Recruitment Manager will partner directly with Sourcing Specialists and our wider Talent team to develop and implement creative strategies to deliver against our hiring needs, making a direct impact on the growth trajectory of our global company.

The Recruitment Manager will:

  • Lead and execute Axiom's talent acquisition strategy, delivering against our hiring needs.
  • Manage multiple aspects of the recruiting process, including liaising with our sourcing specialists on prospective candidates, interviewing applicants, detailing Axiom's value proposition and serving as primary point of contact for candidates throughout the entirety of the recruitment process (including interview path, compensation expectations, interviewer feedback, and timing).
  • Independently navigate and manage compensation negotiations with candidates at offer stage.
  • Collaborate with and advise key stakeholders and Talent leadership on candidate pipeline updates and recruitment metric activity levels (waitlist and conversion rate.)
  • Proactively work to build a network of legal talent, staying current on recruiting trends in the legal industry to inform ongoing recruitment strategy.
  • Share best practices with Talent leadership and peers to help drive the success of the larger Talent team

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5 + years full cycle recruiting experience within a recruiting agency/staffing firm or in-house for a company
  • Ability to develop remote relationships with candidates
  • Strong, persuasive verbal and written communication skills
  • Poise, confidence, and maturity to interact with senior level, highly experienced attorneys
  • Ability to work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to changes and creatively problem solve
  • Proactive, pragmatic, practical and task focused
  • Highly organized and able to operate in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent systems skills including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Legal experience is helpful, though not required

Accommodation for Individuals with Disabilities: Upon request and consistent with applicable laws, Axiom will attempt to provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities who require an accommodation to participate in the application process.
