Responsibilities:
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate to be a key member of our Sustainability team as a Manager. This will include working with existing clients and supporting with business development for new clients in sustainability work. Over the last few years we have seen significant growth in the need for supporting clients with Sustainability across a wide variety of sectors. This includes working with clients on their decarbonisation strategy and supporting them with delivering their sustainability portfolio, programmes and projects. This growth is coupled with the strides we are making internally on sustainability and social value. We have become ISO14001 – Environmental Management accredited and are in the process of going for B-Corp accreditation. Whilst we offset all our emissions last year we are also in the process of creating our own carbon reduction plan to minimise our impact on the environment. Skills:
You must be able to evidence:
- At least 4 years’ experience working on projects that are sustainability related across a number of different organisations

Experience working in one or more of the following:
- Corporate carbon footprinting, aligned to the GHG Protocol, including Scope
- SBTi and Net Zero target setting
- Reporting standards, such as ESOS, SECR, GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, etc.
- Organisational Sustainability or Social Impact Strategy development
- Policy and regulatory frameworks
- Building energy efficiency – assessments, reduction plans, standards, etc.
- Circular economy
- Expertise in sustainability and decarbonisation demonstrated by your understanding of the market and the challenges clients are facing in delivering commitments related to sustainability
- 5+ years consulting experience from a consulting firm;
- Experience in shaping proposals and creating high quality outputs;
- A passion for building and nurturing strong relationships, both with clients and colleagues;
- Willingness to play a significant role in upskilling resources and growing a capable team;
- Experience of effectively managing and collaborating with senior client stakeholders
What we can offer you:
- Potential to earn >£115,000. Our bonus package is made up of a blend of corporate and personal performance. The majority of our team are graded ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ receiving the top end of our package range. Our bonus is paid every 6 months. The base pay is £78,100, on top of which we expect a well performing Manager to be taking home a total cash package of c£110,000.
