How you will contribute:
- Implement Net Zero Roadmaps for Dairy, Wheat and Palm, ensuring in-full and on-time execution of all Procurement actions.
- Evolve roadmaps to pivot away from low performance actions & toward high impact alternatives.
- Establish global governance and oversight to ensure effective ways of working across the global ecosystem of relevant buyers and sourcing managers. Track and report progress, and ensure swift mitigation of risks & issues.
- Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to Procurement Spend Area Teams. Be the single point of contact and subject matter expert for supplier Net Zero and Water Stewardship. This includes the creation and delivery of communications, training and tools that build global capability and enable achievement of the company's Net Zero & Water goals, strategies, policies and targets at speed and at scale.
- Ensure that all policies, processes and supporting documentation are kept up-to-date per evolving MDLZ strategies and expectations. This includes, but is not limited to: supplier expectations documents; RFx templates; contract clauses; supplier KPIs and SLAs etc.
- Represent Mondelēz at relevant external events and cross-industry groups, leveraging cross-industry engagement to accelerate change and progress at our company as well as at the sector level.
- Own the deployment and onging global roll out of Partnering for People and Planet program. Ensure high rates of supplier engagement, and track & report on program progress and impact
- Work in partnership with internal stakeholders, suppliers and relevant 3rd parties to ensure all carbon reduction and water management activities are reflected in our Corporate Carbon Footprint assessment, plus other reports or risk assessments.
- Work with Sourcing Managers, Finance and BUs to build and manage global budget to fund climate and water programs with suppliers.
What you will bring:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Supply Chain or similar
- Experience within Procurement or Supply Chain.
- Proven passion for sustainable procurement, with demonstrable knowledge of latest trends in supplier Net Zero and supplier Water Risk Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to work across-functions and with industry groups to develop leading practices and enable full compliance to stringent policies along the supply chain
- Proven problem solver with demonstrated ability to pull inights from data to drive good decision making
