Job description

Responsible for launching, growing, and managing Inspire Brands International Omni-Channel business (At-Home, Out-of-Home and On-The-Go).

Launching the Business: Executing the Omni-Channel FMCG strategy to prospect, approach and close key International/Regional partnerships focused on Ready-To-Drink, Packed Ice Cream formats and Packaged Coffee.

Growing the Business: Supporting our Partners to grow their year-on-year sales, inc. leading joint-business-planning (JBPs), regular connects, customer engagement and delivery of Omni-Channel Market Plans; thus achieving growth.

Managing the Business: Be the champion internally for Omni-Channel partners, liaising with all functions to bring JBP’s to life; specifically, delivering Market and Category plans thru working with Insights, Commercialization, Supply Chain and Finance.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivering new Partnerships – From Prospecting to Signing, focused on core-categories and Brands as outlined by the Omni-Channel Strategy (LRP).
  • Deliver new business at an International or Regional level, leveraging Inspire Brands global reach to target priority regions with greatest return.
  • Manage the new Partnerships pipeline, creating a funnel and tracking progress of deals in support of Business Development.
  • Engage with Partners to develop Joint-Business-Plans (JBPs), align Market and Marketing Plans, and maintain ongoing governance.
  • Support Partners with immersions and customer engagement (Sales & Brand), generating passion in our brands and closing critical deals.
  • Foster relationships internally, with regional International Business Managers (IBM’s), Field Marketing and Functional support teams.
  • Support Annual planning process, including Innovation Sessions & Budget creation for key Partners.
  • Lead Category Management of key categories (RTD/Packaged Ice Cream / Packaged Coffee) in priority geographies, tracking existing SKUs, new Innovations and Price-Point vs Brand Positioning.
  • Maintain in-depth insight and knowledge of other major players / Industry trends affecting key categories and wider FMCG marketplace.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Six years’ experience in At-Home and/or Out-Of-Home, Sales and Marketing roles, preferably with well-known global brands.
  • Essential to have prior experience managing / working on Global Brands, preferably Brands with a Retail presence or reach beyond CPG.
  • Experience in Development or Working with Strategic Partnerships / Brand Alliances / Licensing Rights.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES

  • Strong Relationship Management experience, with demonstrative capability to manage positive, constructive, and difficult conversations.
  • In-depth knowledge of how FMCG companies operate, inc. Annual Planning cycles, Innovation Gates, Market Mapping & Addressable Market calculations, Brand planning, Marketing Calendars, Accountancy principles, etc.
  • Ability to manage entire sales cycles, from prospecting to effectively negotiating with interested corporations; able to create effective selling stories and close deals through engagement with senior stakeholders.
  • Able to draw-up legal frameworks, terms sheets and to structure deals which unlock long-term potential for all parties.
  • Understands principles of Joint-Business-Plans; able to demonstrate its use.
  • Strategic and tactical thinking to execute the Omni-Channel LRP over a multi-year time horizon.
  • Can demonstrate knowledge of Category Planning and Management – More details Category experience a bonus, but not essential.
  • Ability to constantly prioritize and re-prioritize activities based on delivering growth through both short and long-term objectives.
  • Ability to forge high performing working relationships with other disciplines, in a highly matrixed organization, especially Field Business Teams, Marketing/Brand, Development, Finance, Commercialization/Regulatory and Supply Chain.
  • Ability to impact the course of events through coaching, counselling, and influencing others to accomplish desired outcomes.
