Manager, Information Technology

We are expecting you to work independently and exercise reasonable judgment with little supervision while providing clear documentation of activities and accomplishments. One of the major themes we're focusing on involves network automation and orchestration to increase speed and preserve consistency in our network connectivity solutions.

This could involve automation of network circuit provisioning, switch baselines, routing protocol convergence improvements and network overlay technologies


What you'll do:

  • Strength in managing, developing, and leading people

  • Proficiency in collaborating and influencing product roadmaps in partnership with product teams

  • Expertise in establishing deliverables and driving alignment to schedules using agile methodology

  • Experience in identification of risks and can resolve blocking issues with the team

  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple competing activities based on risk and business needs

  • Aptitude to clearly communicate program vision and status using appropriate media

  • Skills in driving team through multiple initiatives to deliver product release commitments

  • Ability to apply insights from other areas to solve problems effectively Demonstrated ability to independently make good decisions based on incomplete or imperfect information

  • Talent to readily and easily switch gears in response to unexpected events and circumstances

  • Capability to establish credibility and rapport with senior leaders and technical and non-technical team members

  • Demonstrable ability to influence multi-functional teams

  • Flexibility to work under tight deadlines while responding to changing business and technical conditions

  • Ability to understand business needs and see the big picture to make appropriate decisions on trade-offs and prioritization

  • Experience working on large, enterprise-wide, multi-functional projects


Who you are:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in management or technical field; equivalent related professional experience

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering or related infrastructure field

  • 3+ years of experience managing people

  • Software defined network experience

  • Expert-level certifications

  • Scripting background using languages such as Python and JavaScript

  • Network engineering and cloud computing industry experience a plus
