This role offers the opportunity to work in a rewarding environment utilising your ability to communicate and influence, whilst liaising with internal customers of all grades across the firm. The role also brings opportunities to engage with colleagues in other Deloitte member firms as well as at the global level through DTTL.
One of the strategic priorities of Quality, Risk and Security function is digital transformation of its systems and processes. Independence systems and processes play a key and central role in this transformation. Your role will include working on digital transformation and re-platforming of key independence systems working closely with the QRS Digitisation Programme leadership and Independence leadership.
Given the nature of this position, you will be handling highly confidential information, including personal information, requiring enhanced confidentiality terms to be accepted.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing migration of independence systems to global systems or new platforms as required
- Working with DTTL closely for delivery of changes/enhancements required to global independence systems
- Managing the delivery of changes and enhancements to the new independence systems to be delivered as part of the QRS Digitisation programme
- Working with independence SMEs, identifying automation and improvement opportunities in processes and systems
- Managing process automation and improvement projects and overseeing the automated monitoring processes
- Design, improvement and alignment of QRS and Independence dashboards
We are looking for individuals with:
- Knowledge of Deloitte UK and global independence systems
- Experience in managing and delivering complex projects with technology implementation components
- Experience in managing multiple senior stakeholders
- Ability to manage yourself and drive forward proactively to create results
- Commitment to ensuring delivery to the highest standards
- Demonstrable influencing and negotiating skills

Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm.
