As a new programme of work, it is expected that you will contribute to defining how the systems are taken through the development process in to live operation and then managed into the future.
What you'll be doing:
You will be capable of building and assembling software solutions using the current AWS full stack services. You will have strong background in DevOps methodologies, experience in cloud infrastructure management, and a solid understanding of AWS services. The AWS DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and development pipelines. You will work closely with a core team consisting of Software developers, architects and an Infrastructure team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding business, with many opportunities for progression based on success and growth.
What you’ll bring:
- AWS Cloud Services - AWS full stack services including VPC, EC2, Lambda, ECS, Fargate, ELB, S3, SQS, SNS, IAM, Dynamo DB and API Gateway
- Containerization - Docker, AWS ECS, AWS ECR
- Deployment - Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, CI/CD Pipelines, Bitbucket, Bitbucket Pipeline, Jenkins Pipeline, AWS CodePipeline, AWS Code Build, AWS CodeDeploy, Tekton experience would be a distinct advantage.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and performance concepts on AWS.
It would be great if you had:
- Languages and Scripting - Java, Python, Bash, Ansible
- User Interface Frameworks - ElectronJS, ReactJS
- Integration/Microservice Frameworks - Java SpringBoot, NodeJS
