Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Manager of Human Resources will lead and direct the functions of the HR Department. Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of this role. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented and organized individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for Human Resources.
WHAT YOU DO:
- Acts as first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external parties in the UK and Europe.
- Partners with leadership to understand and execute HR and talent strategy. Including performance management, employee engagement, retention, and organizational development/effectiveness.
- Provides guidance on employee relations matters and oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Assists in delivering employee training programs, culture building efforts and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
- HR Information System (HRIS); Accountable for administration of ADP. Including data entry, audits for accuracy, and compliance-related updates.
- Payroll; Prepares and processes payroll for UK. Supports HR Generalist in payroll for US and Canada entities.
- Talent Acquisition; Assists with sourcing talent and screening resumes.
- Leave Administration; Handles leave administration process. Communicates with employees regarding needs for leave, gathers and completes required paperwork and documentation.
- Onboarding; Prepares new hire paperwork and orientation schedule for smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
- Offboarding; Prepares exit paperwork and conducts exit interviews.
- Additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 3 years' experience in HR and Employee Relations.
- Thrives in a fast paced and dynamic company.
- Experience with Payroll administration, preferred.
- Working knowledge of processing and administering leave of absences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to problem-solve and drive process enhancements.
- Acts with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- This is a hybrid role.
