In order to continue the expansion of our Technology Consulting practice, we are currently searching for a permanent position for a: Data Management Consultant – Manager.

We are looking to grow our team of Data Management Consultants to help turbo charge the pace and scale of insight led transformation we can offer to our clients.

Our fast-growing Data & Analytics practice in Technology Consulting, needs Data Management expertise! We believe all sector experience has something to offer, so whether you are Telco or FS, Consumer Products or Utilities, it will all add to the richness of services we can offer our clients.

Your key responsibilities

  • Deliver added value to the clients by providing knowledge, ideas and solutions for improving their data management approach
  • Be able to lead engagements and teams to deliver against key requirements
  • Manage delivery with hybrid teams including on/offshore teams
  • Translate business requirements into data requirements and support the identification and acquisition of data ensuring adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
  • Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
  • Troubleshoot data-related problems and support/advise on maintenance or modifications as appropriate
  • Oversee the development and use of data management solutions
  • Strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures
  • Support Senior Leadership to seize new business opportunities and help to ensure EY is positioned to capitalize on opportunities by providing high quality services to its clients
  • Demonstrate professionalism and competence in all interactions with the client
  • Build strong internal relationships within EY Consulting Services and with other service lines across the organization to ensure efficient utilization of knowledge and resources to deliver services


Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • You have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Business or Technology Consulting
  • Experience managing hybrid teams
  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Experience working across data management platforms
  • You are fluent in English


Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience of planning and executing projects in both waterfall and agile environments
  • Experience of delivering projects to external clients
  • Experience working with on/offshore delivery teams
  • Experience using Microsoft SQL, and Data Visualisation products including PowerBI
  • Demonstrable experience and expertise in handling large complex data sets
