Team and Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Manager to join Adenza’s Customer Delivery team. The primary role is to ensure the success of client engagements by providing guidance and expertise to ensure conformance with current regulatory standards. Knowledge and in-depth expertise on the data required and expected regulatory report results are expected. The ability to communicate and educate clients and colleagues alike on prudential regulatory standards and reporting requirements is essential.
Responsibilities
Senior/Lead client-facing technical and functional consultant participating on projects in the UK and abroad implementing Capital (COREP) and IFR Reporting solutions on ControllerView platform
The successful candidate will be expected to lead a small team of Adenza consultants demonstrating leadership and team management skills
The successful candidate will be expected to work with Adenza clients demonstrating SME, Business, technical, and personal leadership functions and serving as a liaison between Client projects and Adenza Customer Delivery Leads/Head.
The post holder is expected to have a functional and technical background, on which basis they will undergo an initial training of 2 weeks in London followed by on-the-job training to gain proficiency with the ControllerView data management and reporting platform.
The post holder will also be expected to learn Adenza CRD5 BASEL III product and Reporting Data Dictionaries to demonstrate the above to the client giving the right level of detail
You should be confident assisting clients with:
Defining the business rules when implementing CRD5 BASEL and IFR product Data Dictionaries
Adenza CRD5 BASEL and IFR Calculations questions referring to the regulatory requirements
Testing of CRD5 BASEL and IFR calculations and reports providing guidance on scenarios to be tested
The post holder will also be expected to share the business knowledge with the team members and assist internally with queries related to CRD5 BASEL calculations and Reporting Data Dictionaries
Skills And Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university
Good understanding of Capital and IFR reporting concept and EBA Regulations
Exposure to the implementation of the risk reporting when it comes to Capital (COREP) and IFR
A good understanding of key banking products - bonds, loans, deposits, guarantees, collateral, repos, reverse repos, prime brokerage, derivatives
Good understanding of client’s business and data structures
Experience in implementing Capital (COREP) and IFR for financial institutions using regulatory reporting software/software technical maintenance
Knowledge of the software development lifecycles – particularly Agile and Prototype approaches
Experience with leading small to medium-sized teams in a project environment
Experience in the usage of database technologies - preferably Oracle and/or MSSQL. Focusing on query building, data transformation, and report building logic
Preferred Language Skills: French, German, Nordic Languages, Chinese, Spanish
Preferred qualification: CFA, FRM
Basic project monitoring/management skills
