Discover, investigate, influence. An exciting opportunity exists for a manager to join the Conflicts Team within National Quality & Risk Management (NQRM). We are looking for an individual who is solutions-focused, has strong analytical skills and who wants to further develop their knowledge of the underlying legal and regulatory framework and broaden their network and exposure across the risk community and wider firm. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with client service teams across the firm to provide advice on conflicts of interest and related matters, including in respect of new service offerings and products, innovation projects and firm transactions.

Given the firm’s ambition to be the winning business in FY27, increased regulatory and public scrutiny, and the pursuit of alternative delivery models, this role offers exciting opportunities for the right person.

The role offers many opportunities to work collaboratively with other Deloitte geographies and member firms, with exposure to multiple senior stakeholders and high visibility among the partners in the business.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Apply regulation, professional guidance and policies to business situations.
  • Providing advice and guidance to partners and client service engagement teams on how potential conflicts of interest and related issues should be addressed.
  • Assisting partners and client service teams with the resolution of ad hoc issues as and when they arise including enquiries from external parties, developing new products and services and firm transactions.
  • Developing technical material, including policy and guidance, for firm-wide distribution.
  • Training, developing and dealing with escalations from junior team members.
  • Undertaking internal quality control procedures.
  • Supporting on broader Conflicts tasks and projects, including firm-wide digitisation activities relevant to Conflicts.

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm.
