Are you passionate about building a high performing team to support clients experiencing homelessness?

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to work in Hope Gardens, part of the Hammersmith and Fulham Accommodation Pathway. Hope Gardens is a 27 bed 24-hour complex needs service that was co-designed with clients in 2014. The service is trauma informed and works to uphold the principles of working in a Psychological informed way with our clients at the centre of everything we do. Community is also important with our clients encouraged to be actively involved in local events and taking care of the environment.

The service has strong partnerships with local partners and is a key part of the boroughs commitment to ending homelessness in supportive and sustainable way.

In this role you will:

  • Support and lead the team to manage the building, support clients to move on in safe and sustainable way
  • Supervise and support a team of 2 night workers, 2 duty worker and 4 Project workers
  • Meet and work closely with commissioners to ensure quality of service and adapt the service with the support of the manager to meet the needs of the borough
  • Be part of an exciting and large package of support within the borough offered by St Mungo’s. Including accommodation, community navigator support and health specific services.

About you

We are looking for someone who is able to work flexibly and creatively in line with St Mungo’s ethos and support staff to deliver excellent service to some of our most vulnerable clients in Hammersmith and Fulham

You should be able to work quickly and ensure clients are assessed and moved on in line with contract expectations.
