Job description
The SK College Group is seeking to appoint the ideal candidate to become a member of the College Management Team, as a Deputy Head of School in Animal Management. This role will involve supporting the day-to-day management of the animal management curriculum school and supporting the Head of School in the development and management of both staff and students; ensuring an outstanding experience for students.
This is a fantastic role, which will involve participating in the development of teachers, providing opportunities to engage in industrial upskilling and contributing to curriculum development
This role will also involve an annual teaching commitment of 648 hours in line with management guidelines, which are reviewed annually.
The successful candidate must have:
A Degree or professional qualification in relevant discipline
A Teaching qualification
Teaching experience within the FE or Secondary School Sector
Line management experience
An ability to manage and lead across more than one subject area/specialism, with experience in at least one area of the school
Evidence of supporting a team to achieve results
A proven record of demonstrating excellence in teaching.
