The opportunity to work in the heart of Cornwall, within a successful and vibrant team has arisen. Our client is looking for an experienced, inspirational and confident individual to join our dynamic Animal Management teaching team working towards maintaining and improving existing high standards and success rates. The role will be a 0.8 which will be 30 hours per week. The role includes course management, tutoring, teaching and assessing learners in a range of animal subjects both in the classroom and in a practical environment up to Level 3. Be part of a growing Team, with excellent animal management facilities and teaching resources.
Applicants should ideally have a nationally approved Stage 3 teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, AET, CET, DET or equivalent) - however teacher training can be provided and funded by us. Appropriate academic, professional or vocational qualifications at level 6 or above in Animal Management or a closely-related subject and relevant vocational experience within the animal industry are essential. Avian and aquatic experience would be advantageous.
