In this role, you will work hands-on with daily IT operations and lead teams in all areas of Information Technology. You will be responsible for managing the provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, support, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure to ensure all systems and related procedures adhere to organizational requirements and business needs. This is a full time, on-site position located in our Coshocton and Conesville, Ohio operating areas.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Work with IT Leadership in developing and implementing a comprehensive IT strategy/roadmap that supports the organization's existing needs and anticipates future direction, focusing on scalability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work with IT Leadership in planning, scheduling, and implementing major initiatives.
  • Manage projects by defining scope, goals, deliverables, tasks, and required resources, allocating project resources, creating schedule and project timelines, tracking deliverables, and monitoring and reporting on project progress, and evaluating project results.
  • Maintain organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by researching, recommending, and delivering strategies, policies, and procedures to implement and enhance information technologies.
  • Manage on-going cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability scanning and remediation.
  • Secure systems by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation structures, establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and back-up procedures and maintaining information security policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Create, maintain, and document standard operating procedures and guides for the IT department and organizational staff including, though not limited to, installation, configuration, usage procedures, and best practices.
  • Maintain system performance by performing system monitoring, maintenance, deployment, upgrades, standards and analysis, and performance tuning, troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems, and escalating problems to vendors when applicable.
  • Verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Manage maintenance of data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, including remote employees, foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare all users by organizing and/or conducting training and educational awareness programs in relevant IT areas such as cybersecurity threats, IT policies and procedures, compliance, and software and hardware in use. Develop and provide reference materials and support documentation.


Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5-8 years progressive management experience in Information Technology.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in infrastructure, network, security, and server management.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in managing help desk – tickets and resources for efficient time to resolution.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in managing technology in multi-site environment.
  • Experience in managing compute infrastructure including data center environment, server virtualization, networking, firewalls, cloud and backup, provisioning and management automation, and monitoring.
  • Experience in managing corporate IT including mixed Windows and Linux environments, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, Cybersecurity, and integration with Enterprise applications.
  • Experience in driving digital transformation and managing change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to interact with people throughout the organization – levels and disciplines.
  • Ability to motivate and influence others, authentic & trustworthy, foster sound relationships, present a trustworthy/diplomatic image, and engage effectively with others.
  • Strong sense of urgency and work ethic, outstanding client service and interpersonal skills.
  • Cisco CCNA or CCNP is preferred.
