DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate understanding of full life cycle records management, file plan creation and maintenance, applying records disposition schedules, and e-mail management
- Participate in projects to schedule unscheduled federal records
- Participate in agency planning, goal setting, and development of standard operating procedures
- Ensure records creation, maintenance, use, and disposition are in accordance with federal guidelines
- Support monthly and yearly records reviews to monitor office compliance
- Provide client targeted office assistance on an as needed basis
- Support records inventories of paper and electronic information systems/databases for disposition scheduling
- Perform frequent data entry assignments as well as other general administrative office functions
- Maintain records, in paper and electronic format, including, but not limited to gathering, organizing, scanning and indexing
- Create log sheets, reports and production summaries of work performed
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance.
Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in information management related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in records management tasks such as, records inventory, scanning, and records scheduling
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with data entry and familiarity with databases and Excel
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, reading comprehension, and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with team members and work independently to identify and create solutions for issues surrounding program management
