We are on an exciting journey of growth and we are looking to add Two Trainee Recruitment Consultants and Two Experienced Recruitment Consultant to our Leeds based office, covering West Yorkshire.

With our head office in Sunderland, our offices are staffed with experienced education recruitment professionals, providing a personal service to both schools and education staff. We have a vast local knowledge, selecting the most suitable candidate for every assignment. Due to growth and expansion, we have opened a West Yorkshire office, located in the city centre of Leeds.
What will you be doing?
As a Recruitment Consultant at AK Teaching, you bring schools and educators together, towards a better education experience for staff and students alike. In the Leeds office you will join a hardworking and supportive team covering the 3 main education sectors Primary, Secondary and SEND. Each member of the team will be responsible for building your own database of educators and schools across the local area. You will be supported every step of the way and we will celebrate the success you have together.
On a daily basis you will:
- Interact with clients through strong relationship building and delivery of best quality teachers and support staff
- Proactively recruit your own candidate database and match them to the right roles, ranging from temporary to permanent and everything in between
- Maintain the four AK principles
- Support and guide your candidates and clients with a first class customer service
- Meet and exceed agreed targets and objectives
The person who can do this is:
A highly resilient person, who is also open to personal growth and continual development. You will have a highly successful AK career in Leeds if you:
- Are passionate about education and helping schools during we all know is a very difficult time for them
- Have an ability to empower people and have a keen eye to match the right people with the right roles
- Find it easy talking to people on the phone but can also communicate effectively over emails etc
- Think systematically – follow procedures but also have the confidence to speak up if you have a better way to enhance performance.
- Enjoy teamwork but can excel at autonomy
