The role
This is a permanent position based out of one of our UK offices with flexible hybrid working. You will be joining a new team being set up by our Chief Innovation Officer. This would suis an analysts wanting to transition to a management consulting role or someone from an industry or clinical role moving into management consultancy. This role will involve a wide variety of duties; including:
- Developing and running high value innovation initiatives and projects
- Developing new products and services
- Expanding innovation resources and capabilities to deliver sustainable competitive advantage
- Creating a pipeline of investment and revenue to be able to expand innovation opportunities
- Engaging Mtech Access colleagues in new ways of working, innovative solutions and leveraging emerging technology
- Being part of the development of innovation as a platform service for Mtech Access colleagues and clients
- Developing partnerships and collaborations with the NHS, Life Sciences and academia
Requirements
Essential
- A Life Science Degree or clinical qualification
- Worked in health consulting (direct to NHS or to Life Science industry)
- A postgraduate qualification that demonstrates continual learning
- The ability to demonstrate critical and strategic thinking
- Evidence of value-based impact in a leadership role
- Confidence to work at board level
- Can-do team-based attitude
- Leadership and team management track record
- Creative with an outcomes focus
- Ability to motivate and energise subject matter experts and specialists in a regulated environment
Desirable
- Business qualification such as an MBA
- Postgraduate qualification that shows curiosity such as a PhD
