Management Consultant – Energy, Supply Chain, Commodities
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global financial services organisation with a very impressive commodities trading & services portfolio. We seek someone who can help them with their journey to create a consulting business having successfully delivered a number of recent assignments. At first this will mean completing consultancy projects then moving to manage a project pipeline from pitch to aftersales, lead projects, train new team members and seek cross-selling opportunities. We are looking for individuals starting their career to those experienced and strategic candidates who can help design the consulting business.
- Research, write, present, talk on customer consulting projects on commodities, energy etc
- Manage relationships with sector experts
- Develop long-term relationships with consulting customers
- Be alert to further upselling/cross-selling opportunities with consulting customers
- Manage multiple projects at once with varying timelines
- To take responsibility for your performance and to work together to achieve our organizational goals.
- Science or engineering background
- At least 2 years relevant project experience (e.g. existing consulting roles, PHD/Masters)
- Experience in handling and analysing large data sets
- Must have an interest in commodities and supply chains
- Able to develop and maintain diverse relationships
- Good at working under pressure and to deadlines
- £55K – £70K Circa (Depending on the level of experience)
