We are looking for a skilled presenter with experience running in-person and virtual training and workshops for various job levels. You love to learn and strive to be a subject matter expert in all things marketing, including technology, best practices, and reporting. You are looking for a role where you can help others level up and build their own knowledge base in a constructive, approachable way.
The Marketing Performance Manager, North America, will work on the centralized Marketing Performance team for North America and aims to ensure that marketers can thrive and drive performance using our marketing technologies.
Your primary goals will be to drive marketing excellence, best practices, and technology adoption by offering training, troubleshooting, and support across our key marketing platforms. Working closely with the business and platform owners to become a trusted and continuous source of knowledge across our marketing tech stack. You will provide regular, proactive communication to the marketing community and drive change and adoption of our processes and platforms to ensure we deliver results and grow our business.
Working with the Marketing Performance Director, they will identify and communicate best practices in delivering optimized web experiences, marketing automation campaigns, and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
Business Support
- Leading internal stakeholders through the implementation of technical marketing products such as Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Eloqua, etc
- Be Subject Matter Expert (SME) for marketing automation tools and marketing tech stack
- Act as the first point of contact for 'how do I' inquiries from marketers
- Act proactively as the link between marketing and support teams for marketing applications
- Ensure (new and existing) marketing users are effectively trained and confident in using marketing applications, primarily, but not limited to:
- Adobe Experience Manager
- Adobe Analytics
- Oracle Eloqua
- Treasure Data CDP
- WordPress
- Proactively monitor incidents and requests to improve service levels, workflows, and training materials
- Assist business users in their communication with Product, Data, and IT support teams and escalate issues as appropriate
Communication
- Create and maintain effective communication channels with marketers
- Establish communication channels with Informa's support teams
- Provide and share insights to marketing teams
- Proactively identify critical business issues in advance and escalate them to the appropriate department head or platform owner
Tactical Support
- Provide support for our MarTech products
- Provide support and advice on data-related inquiries
- Escalate major incidents to appropriate parties in line with agreed processes and procedures
- Effectively cascade divisional strategy and initiatives about marketing applications and processes to marketers
What you bring to the team:
Essential
- Marketing tech stack expert
- Experience using Adobe Experience Manager (or similar)
- Extensive experience in using marketing automation technology (preferably Eloqua)
- Experience in marketing analytics and reporting platforms (preferably Adobe Analytics)
- Exceptional communication skills demonstrating an ability to communicate with both business teams and technical teams effectively
- Previous experience of working in a marketing function
- Demonstrate analytical, logical thinking capability
- Ability to prioritize and handle incoming inquiries effectively
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and analytics
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, build business cases and measure performance
Desirable
- Degree in relevant business/technology discipline or certified marketing qualifications
- Previous experience in delivering training, running workshops and facilitating learning experiences
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Experience in email design and basic skills in HTML and CSS
- Front End Web Developer Skills
- Previous experience in the B2B / B2C events industry
- Customer service experience a plus!
