Management Accountant
Location: London Victoria
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
Working hours: 40hr per week, Mon – Fri, 9am – 6pm, Hybrid working, early finish Fridays
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and technically minded Management Accountant to join our team in London on a permanent full-time basis. As a Management Accountant, you will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller Manager and will be responsible of:
Process periodic journals including accruals/prepayments and other general/nominal journals.
General Ledger management and control
Ownership of the fixed assets register
Ensure a timely month-end from the accounting perspective.
Review and reconciliation of balance sheets to ensure compliance with group finance policies, including regular review of key balance sheet reconciliations as set out by Group Finance
Participate on the Accounting Control Self-Assessment for the internal audit.
Preparation of year end audit files, and liaising with auditors
Manage relationship with external consulting firm for yearly statutory accounts preparation.
Oversee monthly/quarterly VAT returns and assist with VAT inspections as required.
Ensure all statutory payments (Corporation Tax, PAYE & VAT) are made in a timely manner.
Indirect Tax
Supporting senior members of the finance team to deliver ad hoc projects.
Knowledge and experience
Professional certification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) Qualified
Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
Oracle experience desirable
Strong attention to details
Knowledge on IFRS desirable
Knowledge on tax desirable
Line Management experience
Strong work ethic, with high personal and professional standards.
