Based from their office in Rutland, they are looking to appoint an ambitious and forward thinking Management Accountant to work alongside their Head of Finance as the business embarks on a period of substantial growth.
This is a varied and engaging role, which would be an excellent opportunity for a part or newly qualified accountant who thrives on being at the heartbeat of the company’s commercial and operational processes. Day to day duties in the role will include:
- Produce and present the Monthly Management Accounts
- Support on month end closure
- Produce the weekly production of trading accounts
- Support with the cost control
- Take lead on creating new reports
- Ensure that all financial controls are adhered to
- Liaise with external stakeholders
- Assist with forecast and budgeting
- Assist with ledger reconciliations and transitional review
The role is fully site based and due to the growth plans in place for the business you can expect the role developing over time to include more responsibility and exposure.
Ideally you’ll have a proven background in FMCG, Manufacturing or Logistics.. any fast-paced industry really! You will also need to be at least half way through your ACCA/CIMA studies with strong experience in cashflow forecasting and working closely with senior stakeholders.
The salary for this position is up to £45,000 depending on experience.
