Are you a commercially astute and highly skilled Management Accountant seeking an exciting opportunity with an established organisation in Poole? Sheridan Maine is delighted to be recruiting for a talented Management Accountant who will join our client on a permanent, part-time basis (25-30 hours per week).

As Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and insightful financial information to support the organisation's strategic decision-making process. This position is well-suited for a part or fully qualified accountant with a strong finance background and a keen eye for commercial analysis.

Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

Manage daily cash flow and cash forecasting
Provide daily/weekly/monthly sales and order statistics
Prepare and post monthly accruals, journals and prepayments
Assist with the month end management accounts process
Prepare quarterly/monthly VAT reports and backup documentation
Carry out ad hoc analysis/project work as and when required
Drive continuous improvement of accounting controls and practices
Post, reconcile and monitor petty cash
Process expense claims
Intercompany, Royalties and Recharge invoicing

The successful Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:

AAT Level 4 qualified or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Strong finance background with experience in management accounting
Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to provide insights to support strategic decision-making
Experience of working in a small/medium sized company with a multi-currency environment
Good leaderships skills
