Shearer Associates are partnering with a well known business services company in Cheltenham in the recruitment of a Management Accountant . Working closely alongside a very experienced Finance Manager who you will deputise for , the Management Accountant role involves the following

• Assist the finance manager with the preparation of monthly management accounts,

budgets, forecasts and other financial information.

• Reconciliation of sales and margins from Sun

• Preparation and posting of cost of sale accruals

• Oversee Accounts Receivable function.

• Ownership of self-billing process.

• Assisting the preparation of Quarterly Reporting templates and monthly Working Capital reports.

• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations & review of reconciliations prepared by others

• Monitoring the Finance Service Desk providing updates on old tickets.

• Line management of junior members of the finance team, including one-to ones, professional development and appraisals

• Document and review finance processes and to implement improvements and drive efficiency

• Assistance with the year-end statutory audit

• Other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Finance Manager, FC & FD

Salary: £42,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
