Hugely successful, professional services business based in Leeds currently require a Management Accountant join their growing finance function. Working in a well -established business, in a very supportive business and finance team, you will get the opportunity to really grow and develop. The role is for a Management Accountant - offering an excellent all round finance opportunity, with varied responsibility and lots of exposure to commercial aspects of finance. They will provide huge scope for progression both parallel and vertical opportunities that will open up during your time in this business.

Reporting Directly into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

• To ensure the monthly management accounts are prepared and submitted in line with deadlines.
• Taking a lead on accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and relevant reconciliations.
• Ensure the company payroll posting are accurate against budget figures.
• Ownership of the financial processing and reporting in relation to the central project function.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Responsible for creating accounts preparation efficiencies.
• Review financial data for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Production and development of accounting packs.
• Attendance at monthly financial management reporting meetings with relevant operational stakeholders and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Developing Relationships.
• To support on the annual external audit.
• To support in the production of the annual budgets.
• Ad-hoc project work.
• To be committed to continuous improvement within the finance department and reporting.
• Support on ad-hoc tasks and reporting.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified with previous strong experiences within the finance function.
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
