Within our Business Finance Function, we employ about 30 people and due to an internal move, we're looking for a talented Part Qualified Management Accountant.
So, what’s the job about?
Included within the Business Finance Function we have a team of 11 who work within Management Accounts. You'll specifically support our Landscape and Building Products segment. The job is varied with a focus on overseeing trading agreements with clear, concise, accurate and timely analysis, reporting and providing support to both business and finance stakeholders. So a typical day can include management accounts, decision support, planning and forecasting. Continuous improvement is a recurrent theme at Marshalls and we'll look to you to consider our control environment whilst ensuring your grasp of the business needs enables you to prioritise your busy day effectively.
Across the breadth of our diverse manufacturing company you'll have the opportunity to work alongside a whole host of different departments, including Marketing and Logistics, and you'll get to support on some exciting projects. This will require some great communication skills and a passion to be a part of a proud and ambitious workforce.
What skills are required?
- Similar experience of rebates in a finance team is essential
- Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA and we will fully support you with continued studies
- Highly effective numerically and analytically with sound Excel skills
- Excellent communication, and a skill for turning complex data into a simple message
- Logical thinker with good attention to detail and a high level of commitment
- Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A great ability to build rapport with a positive and upbeat approach
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, taking full end to end ownership, and always using your initiative
- In addition, it would be great if you have Knowledge of Data warehouses and pro clarity
