As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for delivering the management accounts for the Benelux business alongside the Business Partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for month end close for Netherlands and Belgium costs.
- P&L review with Line Manager
- Ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Monitoring all overheads and looking at ways to streamline and save money
- Support process improvements in existing processes
- Support the Benelux team with ad-hoc analysis
- Support the Benelux team on Budgets
Key Tasks:
- Monthly accruals and prepayment journals
- Monthly P&L review
- Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
- Process improvement
- Part qualified with some management accounts experience would be desirible.
- Strong management accounts foundation.
- Entrepreneurial mindset – determination to improve processes and overcome hurdles rather than expecting everything to work perfectly.
- A highly methodical and organised approach, with the ability to deliver processes to tight deadlines and influence others to do the same.
- Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel.
- Ability to work in a high pressured ever evolving environment.
- Ability to multi-task, manage several deliverables simultaneously, work independently and be extremely flexible in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
