We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the Finance Department. This role is an outstanding opportunity to progress and gain experience within a forward thinking organisation and team.

The successful post-holder will be a part or fully qualified Accountant. Ideally you will have previous NHS provider experience, and possess a desire to work within a progressive organisation.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret and explain financial concepts and information to non-financial managers, the ability to manage and coach others and an ability to demonstrate initiative. Excellent communication and IT skills are also essential.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of monthly Management Accounts information to internal stakeholders and providing a high quality Management Accounts service to the Trust as well as providing leadership to the management accounts team.
The role will be an integral part of the Management Accounts Team providing a reliable and responsive Management Accounts service to ensure the provision of high quality financial advice and information to a variety of staff within the Trust, and at different levels.
You will be a highly motivated individual, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload. The main duties include but are not limited to:
- Line management responsibility for 3 members of staff
- Working as part of and supporting the allocated Division/Directorate on a wide range of financial issues to ensure the effective and efficient use of available resources
- Lead for understanding the Trust’s overall non-pay position
- Assisting with the consolidation of the Trust-wide month-end position, monthly forecasting and budget setting
