The opportunity
We are looking for a driven Management Accountant to support the Finance team with the Group's management accounting processes and procedures. The principal aspects of the role are:
- Finance business partner to Head Office function budget holders. This includes providing finance support and challenge in reviewing monthly P&L accounts, business cases and budgets.
- Assisting in the preparation of the monthly profit and loss accounts and commentary for the Head Office functions.
- Continuous review of procedures to identify efficiencies and to implement continuous change via providing support to the finance team.
- Assisting the Senior Management Accountant in the control and reconciling of balance sheets and identifying and reporting on key movements in month and YTD
- Seeking continuous development and improvement in client service and processes.
The role is based in the Diss office using a hybrid approach of a minimum of 3 days in the office a week.
The skills
For the role, it is essential that you:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- BI tool experience (cognos) desirable
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong oral communication skills.
- Good organisational skills.
