Our client is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team. As an Assistant Management Accountant in this organisation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, as well as providing valuable insights and analysis to support decision-making processes. This position requires a proactive analytical thinker with excellent communication skills and a problem-solving approach.
You may be new to management accounting looking to drive your career forward having recently gained your AAT level 4 or an experienced finance analyst, or assistant management accountant working through your CIMA or ACCA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly project reports for budget holders
- Analyse project data and prepare forecasts as required.
- Prepare and submit Grant and Contract claims.
- Liaise with funding bodies and auditors regarding project claims, ensuring timely resolution of queries.
- Payroll reporting
- Prepare and input monthly salary allocations across departments.
- Prepare Year End Payroll reconciliations.
- Prepare and update cash flow forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis and management reports as required
- Prepare monthly Control Accounts
You will be:
- A good communicator able to collaborate with colleagues.
- AAT level 4 or with at least 1 years' experience in a varied management accounting or financial analyst-based position where you look at budgets regularly.
