The Role
We are looking for a confident, experienced Management Accountant who will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts with all relevant analysis. You will provide support to other departments as we continue to grow in the UK and in the US. Your responsibilities will include monthly preparation of monthly management accounts and departmental costs reports, stock reconciliation, and payroll processing. This is an exciting opportunity that might suit someone making their first move from practice to the commercial sector.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations including prepayments, accruals and depreciation
- Management of general ledger including the fixed asset register and Chart of Accounts
- Preparation and distribution of monthly departmental cost reports to budget holders
- Working with Operations to ensure accurate monthly stock reconciliations
- Investigate variances against budgets and provide analysis of differences
- Manage the quarterly debtor financing audit
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Assist with the submission of US Sales Tax returns
- Preparing schedules and reports for annual statutory audit
- Any other duties or ad-hoc projects as might be reasonably requested

Experience:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (level 2 minimum)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Team player, hands-on approach; adaptable in a start-up environment
- Experience in a multi-currency environment
- Knowledge of SAP By Design

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
