Monday – Friday: 8.30am – 5pm
Bernard Matthews Foods Derby is a food production company based in Derby, we are part of Boparan Holdings, a group that contains multiple food brands and restaurants. At our Derby site, we specialise in poultry products with 3 key production areas; ‘RTE - ready to eat’, ‘RTC - ready to cook’ and our Butchery/DSI site – supplying to a range of customers such as: M&S, Tesco, Aldi, Co-op, ASDA, Nandos.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Management Accountant
- Posting Journals
- Bank Reconciliations
- Nominal Analysis
- VAT Returns
- Cash Flow Forecasting
- Budget Forecasts
- Month/Year End Finances
- Financial reporting
- Product costings
- Financial Modelling
- Offer support to the Financial Controller
- Using our finance software Navision
What you need:
· Experience within an Accounting role
· Ideally, you’ll have started your accountancy qualifications and you'll be almost or fully qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
· You’ll have solid experience in weekly accounting with the ability to work under pressure
· Be confident and able to communicate at all levels including having the ability to challenge stakeholders
· Advanced Excel skills
· Ideally some experience of financial modelling
