Job Title: Management Accountant
Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 dependent on experience
Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Hybrid working, with the expectation of at least 2 days a week worked at our Cornford Lane site, Pembury (Aspens Charities, Cornford Lane, Pembury, TN2 4QU). There may also be the requirement to travel to our other sites across the southeast.
The Management Accountant will be responsible for the production and analysis of financial information to support management and decision making. This will enable Aspens to be an efficient, effective and sustainable organisation, able to best provide for our services users and other stakeholders. Working closely with managers to ensure finance is embedded across the charity, having regard to the needs of funders and upholding standards of quality.
We work across the Southeast of England; supporting individuals with autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities across residential care homes, supported living homes, day services and our fantastic outreach programme.

The Finance Department is part of the Central Support Team, working alongside other departments to provide expert and specialist advice and guidance to our services providing care and support.

Availability:
40 hours a week, worked Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm
Essential Training and Qualifications:
- Good level of general education ideally educated to degree level in a relevant subject
· Qualified Accountant or in the latter stages of professional studies, part-qualified / professional level (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE).
Experience and Knowledge:
- Experience in Care sector preferable
· Experience of working with local authorities as a client would be an advantage
· Experience of preparing and producing management accounts
· Experience of working effectively as part of a team
· Experience of working with finance systems
· Excellent Excel skills, with great IT literacy
