Our client is a reputable organisation committed to providing financial support to teams, members, and volunteers of the association. They are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team and work closely with the Head of Finance, focusing on financial and accounting processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Management Accountant
- Recognised Accounting and/or Bookkeeping qualification
Responsibilities:
- Analyse financial data to provide insights into performance, growth opportunities, and target monitoring for improvements.
- Collaborate with departments to prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts for effective resource allocation.
- Track and manage costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing measures to improve financial performance.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing process improvement recommendations.
- Assist the Finance Assistant with data processing and bank reconciliations when required.
