Deichmann UK, are looking to appoint a commercially minded and technically driven Graphic Designer / Art worker.
This is a new role within our Marketing department at our Head Office based in Market Harborough.

As the Graphic Designer, you will report into our Marketing Coordinator and our Head of Marketing and Communications.
You will be responsible for the management and delivery of company wide projects, taking this from initial brief through to implementation, on to all channels including online, offline and in store POS. You will be delivering these projects both in print and digital.

This is a standalone role in which you will handle the stakeholder management both internally and externally. You will take on specific project briefs as well as Deichmann standard company tasks and activities.

For this role you must a hold a full UK drivers’ licence and have access to your own vehicle.
The role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum
This an exciting and fast paced role for a talented individual who is looking to join Europe’s largest shoe retailer.
This is an office based role, working 4 days in our Head Office and 1 day working remotely.

Key activities:

• Interpreting creative briefs, generating, and presenting ideas that are commercially viable and complying with the corporate design.
• Creating effective marketing materials for areas including but not limited to POS, web, newsletter, PR, social media, and internal communication while complying with corporate design.
• Taking jobs from brief to execution and implementation.
• Internal alignment with marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce, buying, operations, and visual merchandising to create visually strong and cohesive output.

Personal characteristics:

• 2-3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally in retail/FMCG.
• Strong technical skills across Adobe Creative Suite with significant experience in graphic design, content development and art working
• Experience using Mac studios or similar software.
• Ability to work independently as you will be the lead and only in-house designer.
• Experience within stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure creative outputs meet business requirements and brainstorm ideas.
• Strong organisational skills, self-disciplined and diligent within your work ethics with ability to meet deadlines whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of creating results-driven marketing output. Educated to degree level or equivalent within the industry field.
