Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Driver Mates. As a Driver Mate, your main responsibility will be to assist with loading and unloading tasks at various locations, including navigating stairs and handling rubbish/refuse collection. In addition to physical tasks, you will also be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with customers and clients as you will be entering their properties.
We complete all types of removal jobs including house removals, furniture removals, refuse collection. Experience in flat pack and furniture assembly is advantageous .
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading of goods, including navigating stairs and handling rubbish/refuse collection
- Follow instructions from the driver and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Help organize and secure items in the vehicle to ensure safe transportation
- Communicate effectively with the driver and other team members
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers or clients
- Exercise care and respect when entering customers' properties
- Uphold professionalism and adhere to company standards at all times
Requirements:
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy items, including navigating stairs
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills
- Professionalism and respect for customers' properties
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not mandatory)
- Previous experience in loading and unloading is advantageous but not required
