Job description
Due to the nature of the role and having open plan changing facilities, there is a genuine occupational requirement that we hire only a male member of staff, this allows us to protect the privacy and decency of our clients within the health club.
An opportunity has arisen within our The Laguna Health and Spa for a club cleaner.
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness in the Health Club, and for providing an efficient service to club members.
Duties Include:
To collect daily cleaning list from Reception Desk
To clean all public and back of house areas to a high standard in line with checklist.
To carry out regular checks throughout the shift and replenish consumables e.g., toilet rolls as and when needed
To clean male changing rooms including toilets and showers during opening hours
To clean spa treatment rooms, gym and related areas
To thoroughly clean swimming pool, steam room and spa pool and once weekly jet wash all wet areas.
To support hotel housekeeping department by cleaning bedrooms, public areas and providing housekeeping services as required.
What We Are Looking For:
The successful candidate will need to be flexible in their attitude to work and be able to work on a rota basis, 24 hours 3 days per week, earliest start time 1 pm and latest finish time 10 pm. They will need to be well groomed with excellent customer care skills together with good verbal communication skills and an eye for detail. Previous cleaning experience within a similar environment would be preferred but not essential.
