Cheshire Seals & Components Ltd are an ISO 9001 accredited manufacturer of high precision machined parts, supplying one-off prototypes and low-and-medium volume production runs to a wide variety of interesting customers covering the pharmaceutical, laboratory, food and drink, and energy sectors – along with many others. We produce CNC-turned and milled parts and seals to precise tolerances in a huge range of materials, from conventional metals to exotic superalloys and rare earths, along with engineering plastics and rubbers – a scope that makes us unique in the UK.
We are looking for a Semi-Skilled Operator with a positive, professional, flexible and hands on approach with a desire to improve the business and develop their career by increasing skills.
Role Purpose / Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Semi-Skilled Operators primary role is to provide support to the Milling Supervisor by operating machines and other equipment and be flexible in their duties. Training will be given, you just need to be positive, show a willingness to learn and have a can-do attitude. Future progression available with the option to gain an engineering qualification for the right candidate.

Skills and Experience
Ongoing training and supervision will be provided with regular reviews to enable completion of tasks to a high standard of quality and output.
An interest or experience of working in a manufacturing environment with the ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings considered an advantage
No experience necessary.
Job Type: Full-time - 36.25 hours per week
Salary: £20,000 - 22,000 per annum
