Prestige Nursing and Care have been actively providing help and support to vulnerable individuals within the communities of Edinburgh for a number of years. We are an “Employer of Choice” and not “An Agency” whose service has been accoladed and approved by the “Care Inspectorate” throughout the years.
Successful applicants must be able to strictly meet the following criteria;
Male with access to own transport and business insurance.
Be eligible to work either full or part time without “working hour restrictions”. Part time positions require a minimum of 24 hours working each week.
Have a minimum of 3 months care experience (paid employment) within the UK.
The care which we provide is within the service users’ homes to allow them to live independently with dignity confidence and reassurance. We take great pride in those whom we serve and treat both our service users and employees with the highest levels of respect and dignity. This approach allows us to deliver a consistent service for the benefit of all.
The nature of the care will depend upon the individual needs of service users. Generally, these will be vulnerable people who will need assistance with daily tasks which we, as enabled people all take for granted.
- Following pre-determined Care Plans.
- Building lasting relationships with service users.
- The prompting or the administration of medication.
- Personal care
- Social interaction.
- The accurate recording of all activity after the visit.
Prestige Nursing and Care reward our employees with a very competitive rate of pay in comparison with other employers, £12.08/Hour. If you are a driver you are also eligible to an additional payment of 45 pence per mile towards travelling expenses.
