Contract: Permanent
Hours: Up to 21 hours per week*
Salary: £18,965 to £19,953 full time equivalent- prorated for part time hours

Interviews: Thursday 20 and Friday 21 April 2023. We shall be arranging interviews as we receive and review applications.
Are you a skilled Maintenance Worker with time to spare for one of the region's leading animal rehabilitation and rehoming facilities?
We are looking for someone to help us with planned and routine maintenance work, as well as ad-hoc repairs to help ensure a high standard of health and safety at the centre. The centre occupies a site of approx 20 acres, and the role includes a large amount of ground maintenance.
*we may be able to offer some flexibility in hours, with alternating shift patterns each week to meet an average of between 17.5 hours to 21 hours per week. Please speak to us at the interview if this is of interest.
Here's some of the key work that you will be doing...
- Repairs, redecoration and clearance
- Garden and grounds maintenance, on a large scale.
- Undertake the weekly fire alarm call point testing.
- Checking the water treatment facility (Bio-Bubble) and changing the collection sack.
- Undertake the weekly water flushing of taps and hoses.
- Management of external contractors.

What we are looking for in you...
- Experience in a maintenance/handyperson/grounds role
- Experience of use of a wide range of hand and power tools and the maintenance of these.
- Ability to prioritise your work.
- A full valid driving license.
