Job description
PAR Systems Ltd has over 50 years of executing successful projects in design, development and installation of remote handling systems, manipulators and cranes. The company also supply spare parts, tooling and installation services as well as training for the operation and maintenance of remote handling systems, manipulators and cranes.
Due to expansion, an exciting position has become available for a Time Served Maintenance Technician to join our friendly team based in Workington.
Essential Qualifications, Experience and Role Requirements:
- Must have undertaken full apprenticeship and gained time served status in either electrical or mechanical bias
- Must have some experience of working in a maintenance/fault finding role
- Must be able to obtain P4 pass and SC Clearance for working on nuclear facilities
Role Responsibilities:
- To follow industry health and safety working practices and regulations.
- To perform on-site service and warranty functions.
- To perform routine and non-routine maintenance and fault-finding activities.
- Will aid in the delivery of training courses (once suitably qualified) to client operators and engineers.
- Will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and manage own time effectively
- To undertake and control small projects
· Able to use IT systems (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. ).
· Will perform other duties as assigned
