Novotel/Ibis Glasgow has a fantastic opportunity and vacancy for a Maintenance Technician working 32 - 40 hours a week.
Our hotel is looking for a Maintenance Team Member whose responsibility and tasks include:
- Ensures the day to day maintenance of the hotel, including repairs, alteration, and installation of work.
- Work closely with hotel team to provide a reactive and proactive multi-skilled service on all operational equipment and hotels’ infrastructure.
- Ensure a timely completion of work carried out.
- Work of the PPM of the hotel
- Assist with the Health & Safety within the hotel
- Assist callouts, contractors & service visits
In general the Maintenance Team Member looks after the hotel - bedrooms and public spaces to ensure all equipment works, is maintained and fixes any issues that arise. This could be fixing leaks, painting, plumbing, electrical issues/faults, fixing door locks, basic carpentry and maintaining hotel equipment.

Work Experience

- Relevant building/handyman maintenance experience is essential
- Available to attend the hotel during emergency (compensation provided)
